Ken Booth: Is It Because I’m Black?

I found this track on a cd from 2001 called Darker Than Blue: Soul From Jamdown (1973-1980). It follows the typical reggae tradition of the covering the soul sound of the late 70’s. To say this cd is epic would be a gross under statement.

Judith Scott was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1943 with Down Syndrome. In 1987, after many years of living in isolation, Judith was introduced to Creative Growth, a visionary studio art program, founded 35 years ago in Oakland, California, which serves a community of adult artists with mental and developmental disabilities. Judith Scott was unable to hear or speak. Museum of Everything at Selfridges in London showing 20 years of works of Judith Scott through Oct 25th.
